The Properties of Petroleum Fluids

William D. McCain, Jr.
Substantial progress in our knowledge of the physical properties of reservoir fluids has occurred during the last fifteen years. Correlations have been improved. Observation of production behavior and laboratory results have led to better rules of thumb for use in determining the type of fluid in the reservoir. Tabular and graphical correlations have been reduced to equation form for use in computers.
